Taking a break from being the new "Chief Twit" at Twitter, Elon Musk attended Heidi Klum's famous Halloween party, alongside a number of celebrities.
German-American supermodel Klum was hosting her 21st annual Halloween party, an occasion known for bringing out extravagant costumes, with Klum herself always going above and beyond when it comes to dressing up. This year was no different.
Klum's costumes often becomes unrecognizable when she gets into costume at her parties. Previous years have seen her dress as a clone, Princess Fiona, an alien and Jessica Rabbit, as well as a convincing older version of herself. This time, she appeared as a giant worm.
Klum had her husband, Tom Kaulitz, by her side, dressed as a fisherman, and seemingly using Klum as bait. Heidi's daughter, Leni Klum, also attended, dressed as Catwoman.
Dozens of celebrities attended this year's event, held at the Cathedrale at Moxy Hotel in New York City on October 31. Professional photographers lined the blue carpet to snap each of the guests as they arrived at the party.
Elon Musk attended, alongside his mother, Maye Musk. Maye previously appeared on the German edition of Next Top Model alongside Klum. The billionaire's costume appeared to be the Devil's Champion-Leather Armor Set, which is marketed as costing $7,500 online.
While Musk stood out in his bright red armor, other celebrities sporting eye-catching looks on the red carpet included reality TV couple Coco Austin and Ice-T. Actor Kyle McLaughlin turned up with his wife, producer Desiree Grubin.
Jonathan Van Ness and Antoni Porowski, two fifths of the cast from Netflix's popular reality show Queer Eye, also attended with their plus ones.
Uncut Gems actress and Kanye West's ex, Julia Fox, sported a devilish look on the carpet, while Boogie Nights actress Heather Graham looked regal as Cleopatra.
Other attendees included The Roots band member and now Oscar-winner Questlove, Marina Hoermanseder, Alex Mariah Peter, Leomie Anderson, Anok Yai and social media star Olivia Ponton.
Before attending he party, Musk was pictured leaving Twitter HQ in New York alongside his mom and one of his children, as he gets to grips with his new role as the owner of Twitter.
Since taking over officially, Twitter has reportedly seen a rise in hate speech, which has been condemned by a number of celebrities.
Musk has flaunted the idea of bringing Vine back, and he's also suggested making verified users pay for their blue tick.
